Although I won’t be spending my holiday season in San Antonio (while I think this sounds like a fun city to be in during the holidays, I simply don’t have any family members who live there, so it wouldn’t make much sense for me to be there during this time of the year), I will be going there not too long after the new year begins.
The reason that I will be going to San Antonio is for a trip with my wife and kids. Although my wife helped me plan out our trip to San Antonio (okay, I guess it’s more fair to say that she planned out the trip and I provided her with some help), my kids have no idea about this trip. As you probably guessed, they are going to find out about this trip on Christmas day. Since both of my children are still fairly young, it’s going to be Santa who leaves the gift that tells them that they get to go on a really fun trip with Mommy and Daddy (which includes a really fun time flying in a plane).
