Although I had a wonderful Christmas with my family that was not only fun, but was also extremely relaxing, there is only so long that you can use the Christmas holiday to hide from the way your life really works. Even though Christmas just took place, now that I got to have my enjoyable vacation, it’s time to get back into the real world. Not only am I already back in the workplace, but I am going to be taking a business trip before the New Year even arrives.
While you may think that having this kind of responsibility makes me mad, I can truly say that I love my job, and even though it takes up basically all of my time, I can’t imagine living my life any other way. Therefore, when something like a business trip to San Antonio comes up just a few days after the Christmas season comes to an end, I take a deep breath and accept what I need to do and accomplish.
Being on a plane on New Year’s Eve isn’t going to be an ideal experience, but as long as I accomplish my goal during my trip to San Antonio, I will continue to be a happy man.
